For now I’m just going to post this here as a like in the sand, and something to look back on from future battlefields…
If you’re still using OpenAI products, be aware that you are contributing to a existential threat to humanity akin to nuclear weapons (except in this case the reigns are in the hands of Bond villain-level madmen and not global superpowers with at least a theoretical responsibility to protect the lives of their citizens).
The safest way to fight this battle is to simply make what OpenAI is doing economically infeasible. Stop giving them your money, time, attention and any other form of power. Stop helping the toxic “information” produced from these systems leech into our human intelligence. If we don’t stop them on this front, we’ll be forced to do so along costlier, more dangerous fronts.
