For SE/3D I’m planning to use a portrait-oriented display (I’d go for square if I could find one the right size).  This is not how most of my machines are laid-out (hard to re-orient laptop displays), so I’m setting-up a little workstation to experiment with building-out a desktop fab workflow on a machine with a vertical display.

So far it’s a Rasbperry Pi 400 (because that’s just what I had handy) but over time I’ll replace it with hardware destined to go inside SE/3D.  Eventually I’ll print a full-scale SE/3D case and switch to using the screen I’ve selected for the final build.

I haven’t had much time to play with this being sick and all, but I can imagine a few things that will be nice about the layout.  I have some pretty weird ideas for the software package that if I can pull them off will be well-suited for a “full-page” display.
